For our part, we bring the perfect setting to a perfect day
with our spectacular 45 acre oceanfront and wooded venue. What
better place to exchange your vows than underneath our picturesque
gazebo right at the waters’ edge, framed by shimmering
pines and surrounded by family and friends.

Our covered outdoor Pavilion, located adjacent to the Pool and
Restaurant, provides an ideal and convenient location for your
reception. The combined indoor Restaurant and outdoor Pavilion
area can easily accommodate up to 150 guests.
Ocean Gate anticipates providing a complete range of onsite
services and equipment in the near future. For the time being,
however, all arrangements for food, beverage and equipment services
are made directly with a third party provider of your choice
subject to Resort approval. We would be happy to recommend several
well regarded caterers in the area that have a proven track record
of designing a perfect reception for your perfect day. |

A rehearsal dinner “Lobster Bake” can be created
for your important guests and features the traditional fare of
Fresh Maine Lobster served with hot drawn butter, Mussels, Clam
or Corn Chowder, Corn on the Cob, Tossed Salad, Potato and Macaroni
Salads, Blueberry Pie and a selection of non-alcoholic Beverages.
Our Lobster Bake is served in an intimate but casual, family
style setting and provides a great opportunity for relaxation
and fun after last minute, hectic wedding preparations. |
| The Resort also offers a full range of accommodation types and
amenities for your out of town guests. Canoes, kayaks, tennis,
basketball, fitness room and even a mini golf course are a sampling
of the many activities that your guests can enjoy while staying
with us here at the Ocean Gate Resort. Overnight guests are also
treated to a complimentary full breakfast buffet each morning
of their stay. |
