| The Ocean Gate Resort was built in various stages starting in the mid 1950’s culminating with the addition of our Waterfront Building in the mid 70’s. In December of 2006 the property was purchased by the current owners under the corporate name of GEM Hospitality Group. The new owners have already begun implementation of their long term capital improvement program, designed to maintain the facility in a condition befitting its’ spectacular location. The onsite owner/managers bring over 30 years of upscale, quality hotel experience to Ocean Gate and remain committed to providing first-class hospitality services to the needs of our guests and associates. |

| The Ocean Gate Resort is a seasonally operated facility situated on 45 acres overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The resort property includes 8 buildings that house 66 guest rooms, most of which offer stunning ocean views. The main lobby houses the registration area, reservations office and a small retail area. The resort also offers a full array of recreational amenities including an outdoor heated pool, hot tub, fitness room, miniature golf course, stocked fishing pond, hiking trails, children’s playground, basketball court, and a dock that offers complimentary canoes, kayaks, row boats. Sail boat rentals and lessons are also available. The resort is host to weddings and social events and is located 2.5 scenic miles from Boothbay Harbor. Guests are welcomed to the Resort each year from May through October. |
